Donald R. Miller, 82, of Lower Augusta Twp, passed away on May 6, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Tower City on November 17, 1931, a son of the late Maude E. Miller and the late Cloyd H. Miller. He was the husband of Shirley Klinger Miller, married since June 7, 1958. He was a member of Free Grace Brethren in Christ Church, Millersburg, Gideons International, he served in 1W Service in Ohio. He worked in Pomeroys in Harrisburg, Strohecker Dry Cleaners, Millersburg, and at TRW in Harrisburg for 12 years.Donald's hobbies included music, singing, playing instruments, hunting, gardening, raising chickens, goats, ducks, reading, writing, and photography. Donald is survived by his loving spouse Shirley Miller, three sons, Kenneth Miller of Richmond, TX, Donald (Vicki) Miller Jr. of Sunbury, Gary (Sherri) Miller of Sunbury; two granddaughters, Angela Miller of Sunbury, Michelle Miller of Sunbury; two grandsons, Phillip (Katie) Miller of Shamokin, Gregory (Rebecca) Miller of Independence, KS; two great-grandsons, Brendon Miller, Chase Miller; great-granddaughter, Kailey Miller; two sister-in-laws, Jean Miller of Hummelstown, Betty Miller of Tower City. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ruth Ann Miller, a sister, Beatrice Crouse, brother, Bruce Miller, brother, Frank Miller, brother, Eldon Miller, brother-in-law, Donald Crouse, sister-in-law, Betty Miller. A viewing will be held on May 10, 2014 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 11:00 am at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, with Rev. William Berry, officiating. Interment will take place in the Evangelical Brethren Cemetery, Berrsyburg.
